LABORER – PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
The Township of Wyckoff (Bergen County) is seeking a full-time Laborer for the Department of Public Works. Starting salary is $52,957 with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (40+ hours/week), and an intended start date of January 2, 2026. Responsibilities include construction, maintenance, repair, and cleaning of streets, drains, sewers, parks, playgrounds, public facilities, leaf collection, snow removal, and other assigned duties. Heavy manual labor and work in adverse weather conditions are required, along with mandatory overtime during fall and winter seasons. A valid NJ driver’s license is required. CDL Class A or B is preferred; applicants with a CDL Learner’s Permit may be considered but must obtain CDL Class B within one year of hire. Background check and drug test required.
