Wyckoff Community Garden

Wyckoff Community Garden at Eisenhower Middle School
Welcome to the Wyckoff Community Garden for the 2025 season! The Garden is a joint project of the Wyckoff Environmental Commission and Wyckoff School District. We have some simple guidelines for the Garden that we request you adhere to. The Garden is a great community activity and we are delighted to involve residents along with the faculty and students to enjoy and enhance the gardening experience for everyone.
From the view from the gate, the first two beds to the left are assigned to the school, primarily for use of the science classes.
The remaining eight beds are available for community residents to adopt on a first come first serve basis. If you have an interest but all of the beds are assigned, you will be placed at the head of the line for the following year
The Garden is organic. No pesticides, no petroleum-based fertilizers, etc.
Please plan to volunteer for an hour per week to ensure your bed is weeded and maintained properly
The Garden is watered twice weekly during the summer months. If your bed requires more, you can bring water in buckets, for example, to do additional watering.
If you are growing vegetables/produce, we request that you consider donating a portion to a local food pantry such as Families for Families. If you do donate, please ask for a confirmation email that identifies what you donated and that it was grown in the Wyckoff Community Garden. These emails can be forwarded to [email protected] for compilation.
Please respect the integrity of the other beds. If you notice a problem such as an infestation, please email [email protected] with a detailed description of the problem.
While school is in session, please limit your visits to after 3:00 PM or the weekends so as not to disrupt any school activities.
Thank you
